Ingredients
- 4 Cups cooked jasmine rice
- 2 Cups medium size raw shrimp
- 1 Medium shredded carrot
- 1 Fresh chili pepper chopped no seeds
- 2 ounces of sake
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Chopped garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp ginger powder
- 1 Tbsp yellow curry powder
- 6 Tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onion to garnish
Instructions
- Wash the shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel.
- In a bowl mix the shrimp, salt, pepper, ginger powder, curry powder, and chopped garlic.
- In a wok pan heat 3 Tbsp of sesame oil, fry the shrimp until golden and transfer to a different bowl. Set aside.
- In the same wok pan, add 3 Tbsp of sesame oil and saute the carrots, chili peppers, and sake for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked jasmine rice and soy sauce, saute the rice with vegetables for 5 more minutes. Then add the shrimps.
- Garnish with green onions.
