No bake, Peanut butter, oats and raspberry bars!
this recipe is super easy and fast to make.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup rolled oats
- 1/2 Jar peanut butter (I used Smucker's 1lb jar)
- 1/2 Cup hot water
- 1/2 Jar raspberry jam (I used Smucker's 1lb jar)
- 1/2 Bag chocolate chips
- 1/4 Cup milk
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 Stick cacau butter (I used Terrasoul)
Instructions
- In a pot melt the coconut oil, cacau butter and peanut butter until blended.
- Add water and oats, mixing well cook for 2 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool down in the pot for 5 minutes.
- Line a square or rectangular baking dish with parchment paper.
- Add half of the mixture into the baking dish pressing it down with your hands to make it even and flat.
- Spread the raspberry jam on top of the mixture and then place the remaining mixture on top pressing with your hands.
- Pop the dish in the freezer while you work on your chocolate.
- In a separate small pot add chocolate chips and milk.
- Cook on low heat, continuously mixing it until all the chocolate is melted. then set aside let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Add the cooled melted chocolate to a small Ziploc bag. Close it tight and make a tiny hole on the corner of the bag to squeeze out the chocolate.
- Remove the dish from the freezer and squeeze the melted chocolate on top in a zigzag pattern.
- Keep it in the refrigerator
