These potatoes came out of the oven crispy and buttery with the perfect combination of flavors!
Ingredients
- 2 Large sweet potatoes
- 2 Shallots
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 6 Thyme sprigs
- 5 Tbsp honey
- 1/2 Squeezed lemon
- 1/2 Stick of butter melted
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions to garnish
Instructions
- Peel and cut sweet potatoes in vertical pieces, and place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
- Peel and cut shallots in vertical pieces and add to potatoes.
- Peel and cut garlic cloves in half and add to potatoes.
- In a separate bowl mix the butter, lemon, onion powder, garlic powder, and honey. Add to the potatoes and mix by hand.
- Add the salt, pepper, and thyme sprigs.
- Preheat oven to 350F and bake for 40 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions.
