Teriyaki Salmon

Updated: Apr 30, 2020

This is a recipe my Brazilian cousin Laura Corradi shared with me from @foodie_laura

and it has been on repeat in my house.

Ingredients:

- 2 Small salmon fillets

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1/2 Tbsp garlic powder

- 1/2 Tbsp onion powder

- 1 Tsp chili powder

- 1/2 cup soy sauce

- 1/4 cup rice vinegar

- 2 Tbsp sugar

- 1 Tbsp corn starch

- 1 Tbsp fish sauce

- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

- 1 Tbsp sesame oil

- 1 Tbsp butter

Instructions:

Salmon:

Pat your salmon dry with a paper towel.

Season the salmon with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and butter.

Preheat the oven to 425F, and place the salmon skin side down.

Bake for 10 min. The salmon is done when it is easily flaked.

Sauce:

In a bowl mix the soy sauce, vinegar, oil, fish sauce, sugar, chili powder, sesame seeds, and the corn starch.

Cook the sauce until it starts to thicken.

Pour the sauce on top of the salmon and you are ready to serve.

Enjoy!
